Teradici annonce une excellente nouvelle pour les possesseurs de machines sur base Mac OS, le support natif de Mac OS. Pour faire simple, il suffit d’installer le pilote dit « host » sur la machine que l’on souhaite contrôler à distance, ensuite en ayant bien pris soin de paramétrer le réseau et la sécurité des accès, il suffit d’installer sur n’importe quel poste mac ou pc un logiciel dit « client » qui permettra de prendre le contrôle sur 1,2,3 ou 4 écrans simultanés à partir de n’importe quel ordinateur fixe ou portable.

Vous contrôlez de fait l’ordinateur distant qui « stream » en temps réel avec une latence quasi imperceptible son écran dans une qualité en 4:4:4 jusqu’à 60 images /seconde. Teradici permet également d’utiliser des dispositif USB comme les tablettes wacom et d’utiliser les fonctions spécifiques comme le pen pressure.

DID TECHNOLOGY en mai 2020 à déployé pour l’école ESRA paris 50 licences pour les machines des étudiants SUP INFO, ce qui leur a permis de continuer à travailler à distance pendant les restrictions d’accès au site tout en bénéficiant de la puissance des machines de l’école et de l’accès à ses ressources locales.

Un autre point fort est l’impossibilité pour l’utilisateur distant de transférer des fichiers par le client teradici, ce qui permet donc avec une gestion réseau des droits d’accès de garantir la sécurité de son environnement de travail.

Teradici nécessite d’avoir une infra réseau avec firewall et switching de layer 3 pour un installer plusieurs solutions de portail d’accès et d’authentification.
